About

Meet Joe Cinquemani

Attorney, patriot, and candidate for New York's 16th Congressional District.

As a resident of New Rochelle and Pelham Bay for the last 30 years, I want to represent Westchester and the Bronx because I have better ideas to reduce our taxes, cut spending, create high-paying union jobs, tame inflation, and preserve the Great American legacy for the next generation.

I am the proud father of triplets. They attended New Rochelle's public schools, pre-K through 12. They now attend public universities.

For 32 years I have enjoyed a dynamic law practice focused in real estate, business transactions, and succession planning.

In real estate, I have represented buyers, sellers, managers, majority shareholders, minority shareholders, contingent beneficiaries, brokers, lenders, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, civics groups, landlords and tenants in transactions involving single and multi-family dwellings, commercial properties, commercial leases, and complex collateralized financing.

In short, I have sat in every seat at the transactional table at one time or another, representing the interests of my clients. I understand that the same deal has radically different implications for the many parties and stakeholders involved in the deal. This is the valuable insight and broad perspective that I will bring to Congress representing Westchester and the Bronx.

My business practice is focused on advising entrepreneurs from start-up to succession planning, harmonizing the many complex and idiosyncratic factors unique to each client. I work closely with my clients to expand options and possibilities, maximize value, minimize taxes, while preserving the client's legacy.

I do the hard work to ensure each client successfully transitions their business and wealth to the next generation. Good succession planning requires insightful analysis and experienced counsel on the intricacies of valuation options, buy-sell agreements, leasing, real estate, intellectual property, 1031 swaps, trusts, life insurance, and an array of complex tax considerations specific to each client.

Again, this is the valuable skill set, the insight, and the uncanny analytic ability to find better solutions to the seemingly insoluble that I will bring to Congress.

After 32 years I am proud to continue providing good counsel and excellent legal service for my clients. Now I want to do the same representing my friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens in Westchester and the Bronx who believe that we need a change of direction and a better way forward.
