Direction not Destination

Washington today is obsessed with ideologies and pre-packaged, unyielding plans. Politicians like George Latimer toe the party line, adhering to a fixed, ideological end point before they even listen to the facts.

George Latimer and the Democrats lock themselves into a rigid cage of dogma whether it is Racism packaged as DEI, or the ideologies of Communism, Socialism, or Progressivism. They treat compromise as defeat. To them, the final destination is non-negotiable, and they have experts to tell us what is good for us.

When the world changes and the ground shifts beneath our feet, rigid plans break. Ideologies fail and often foster violence. Ideologies blind us to reality. When an ideology dictates your destination, you stop looking for what works, and you start forcing the world to fit your theory even if it means arson, murder, and mayhem.

I am running for Congress because I believe in a different path. I believe in ideas not ideology, direction not destination.

Ideas provide direction. They do not mandate a destination. Ideas act as our compass. They point us toward prosperity, toward safety, toward opportunity, and toward justice. But they leave the final destination open to growth, to innovation, and to common sense.

If we choose an ideology, we choose gridlock. But if we choose ideas, we choose solutions. We choose better outcomes, the flexibility to adapt, to learn, and to solve real problems for the people of Westchester and the Bronx and for all Americans.

The simple reality is that true progress cannot be reached in a single election cycle or even in one administration. Rebuilding our country is a long-term journey. It is going to take a generation to cut the federal budget, lower your taxes, produce clean, affordable, American energy, and dismantle the bloated administrative state.

I am not promising a magical, overnight destination. I am here to take that crucial first step with you in the right direction. The smart direction. The direction of prosperity and the American Dream.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
